Kenneth A. Metzger, Esq.

Kenny has focused his practice primarily on personal injury cases with an emphasis on truck wrecks, automobile wrecks, slip and fall cases, and breach of contract cases. Kenny has resolved hundreds of personal injury cases as well as successfully tried cases in both district and circuit court in Alabama. He also has prior experience handling cases involving unlawful billing practices and hospital liens in individual and class action litigation.
Kenny graduated from Jones School of Law in Montgomery, AL where he was named to the Dean’s List. While in law school, he interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Alabama. He also spent a summer volunteering for the Mobile Volunteer Lawyers Program, and served as the treasurer and senator of the school’s Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. Before attending law school, Kenny grew up in Mobile, AL where he attended St. Paul’s Episcopal School. Upon graduation, he attended Millsaps College in Jackson, MS where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Accounting and Minor in Economics. While at Millsaps, he helped the Majors win four conference football championships, and earned recognition as a SCAC Honorable Mention and was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.
When not practicing law, Kenny enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. You can usually find him hunting, fishing, scuba diving, working out, or watching football.

Kara Metzger
ACCOUNTANT & LEGAL ASSISTANT
Kara graduated from West Virginia University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting and Minor in Communications. She worked as an Accounting Manager for 11 years for an outside firm as well as being Metzger Law Firm’s accountant. Being involved in the day to day business side of Metzger Law Firm inspired her to learn the legal side of the business. She helps with case management, document drafting, and client communications.
Kara is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Alabama in 2017. In her free time she loves spending time with her family. Having 2 boys keeps life very busy! She is an avid runner and you can usually find her training for a marathon. She loves doing anything outdoors- running, hiking, riding bikes, scuba diving, going to the beach, fishing, traveling, etc.
Evelyn Campbell
PARALEGAL & CASE MANAGER
Evelyn was born and raised in Alabama. She received her degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University in 2008 and has worked as a personal injury Case Manager and Paralegal for the past ten years. Prior to her legal career, Evelyn worked in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant, secretary, and medical records coordinator. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her three children. You can find her bowling, playing board games, watching football, scavenger hunting, or enjoying other outdoor activities.
Sophia Lopera
LEGAL ASSISTANT
Sofia Lopera is a Geological Engineer from Universidad EIA (2021) with a postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering in Medellin, Colombia. While her background is rooted in the precision and problem-solving mindset of engineering, her curiosity led her to explore the legal field — where she has gained hands-on experience as a Legal Assistant in personal injury cases for over a year and a half.
Pragmatic and methodical by training, Sofia also values creativity, communication, and empathy in her work. She believes in balancing technical rigor with a human touch, which makes her approach both diligent and ethical.
Outside of work, Sofia enjoys spending quality time with her family and is a proud mother of a little one. To keep a healthy mind–body balance, she loves playing ultimate frisbee and swimming.
